THE DUKE'S ASSEMBLED ENGINE FITS STIHL 017 18 MS170 MS180

If this is a Chinese engine beware these may not work in the early 017s the coil mounting is different and the flywheel may be different. This may also be true on the early 018s. Know this to fact on my early 017.
But did use parts from this site to repair my old engine.

I give this $35 deal 5 stars because of the price, the apparent quality of the engine and extra parts, and especially the company standing behind it. Mine came with an obvious problem due to a low-paid assembly worker in a factory. The other problem, I'm not sure about yet. I asked for some help on the chat. They said give them a call. The man on the phone recognized the engine arrived with an obvious problem, and asked what I would like him to do. I didn't know what to say about that, but I said I would like to spend a little more money and see if I could get it to run. He said he would like to give me a refund so he could sleep that night. With a price like this and a company like this standing behind it, how can I go wrong? He said he's sold quite a few of these and some do have problems for various reasons. It seems worth it to me to spend a little money on it and see how it goes. The engine looks basically very good. If I can't make it work, I have the option to try buying another one, with a little closer inspection before it gets shipped, looking for things like maybe a crankshaft oil seal sitting rather crooked in its place. One thing for sure, this company is not crooked.
