These drop-in replacement deflectors are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and utilize the factory spark arrestor if desired.. Benefits are more airflow and power as well as a cooler-running saw.

*Check local noise ordinances before purchasing, and always use hearing protection when running a saw that has a modified exhaust.*

*Proper carburetor tuning is required for the saw to run correctly after installation. Damage to the saw is possible with improper carburetor adjustment.*

CS 620P Mod

Echo CS 620P chainsaw. Have used saw almost daily since September so experienced, now eom November. No adjustments since purchase. Installed Gearhead Performance Deflector last week. Changed spark plug for color match. Left spark arrestor in. What a difference!!! Response improved. Little more noise. Saw has more power. Not placebo effect either. Neighbor says same thing. Didn't tell him what I did to it. Ran for one hour. Couldn't stop using it. Took away from him. No adjustments to air-fuel screws. Plugs match on colors, medium brown. Idle speed same. Premium fuel, synthetic 2-cycle oil, 50 to 1 ratio. Nice machining job. Too bad it's hiding under chain brake. Needs to be seen. Install time was 45 minutes with deflector, plug, and air filter o-ring kit. Excellent product. Made a great saw even better. Now excuse me, there's a tree over there that needs...

Got this and a few other for my fathers new echo 590 because he did like the it had. Between this timing advanced key way and performance carb plus the sealing kit for the air filter it definitely gave the saw a 20% gain in power he claims. Very happy so far
